Mother Earth is bountiful on Tanna, enjoy the range of luscious vegetables, fresh fruit and the subtle yet strong rhythm of the seasons. No pineapples? That’s because everything grown here in Tanna is how nature intended. Every fruit has it’s season, every season has its celebration and tradition.
You may notice the yellow and red painted faces of the local community walking to the ceremonial grounds of their village nakamal. They are going to celebrate the start of the next lobster season.
Everything has its time and place in Tanna. As it was hundreds of years ago and still is today.
Vanuatu beef is so tender, fresh chicken is always free range.
Water to Friendly Bungalows is provided by our own deep spring fed well. It is fresh and clean and piped directly to each bungalow.

There are no dangerous insects or animals here in Tanna, but it is always good to be prepared. Bring sensible shoes, be aware you are in a remote part of the world.
